The Benefits of Working in Temporary Positions
This short presentation is intended to give an overview of why working in temporary positions is beneficial. I will discuss short-term and long term benefits, goals, interviewing, and success stories.

The purpose of Job Club is to provide a positive environment for motivated job seekers to meet, connect, share and learn. The free group is open to the public and meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Job Club is for you if you are a motivated professional and currently out of work, underemployed or looking to make a career transition.

Employment Specialist @Nicole Waite
Nicole is an Employment Specialist at the University of Kentucky in Human Resources. She has been a part of the STEPS Temporary Employment team since 2017. Nicole has supported many areas at UK and UKHC including: Patient Services, Dentistry, Nurse Recruitment, Administration, and Temporary Employment. She is a UK graduate obtaining a BLS in Social Sciences with a minor in Psychology and recently began graduate studies in Mental Health Rehabilitation. She is the 2016 Sarah Bennett Holmes Award recipient at UK, a 2016 Quilt of Teamwork nominee for nursing support in UKHC, and an Ace Award nominee in Human Resources from 2017 – 2019, for outstanding customer service.
